The Block Jax is a locally developed, family-friendly outdoor food hall and community gathering place featuring eight food vendors, 3 bars, live music, events, and a dedicated kids play park.

Monday – Tuesday: Closed (available for private venue rentals or special events)

Wednesday – Thursday: 11am – 9pm

Friday: 11am – 10pm

Saturday: 10am – 10pm

Sunday: 10am – 8pm

Yes, vendors are open during normal operating hours.

Yes. Onsite parking is available at no charge.

Guests can order food or drinks online or via QR codes located at tables and various seating areas around the venue.

Ordering is web based and no app is required.

You can order from multiple vendors under a single order and you will be notified via text when your order is ready from each individual vendor.

Feel free to order directly from the individual vendors as well if ordering in person is more your speed.

No. All transactions at the block are via credit card, either through the QR/online ordering platform or in person.

Yes. We serve alcohol at three on-site bars.

Main bar – Located near the main entrance and in the main dining area. 20 taps with rotating craft beers including 4 beers brewed on site by Southern Swells, exclusive to The Block Jax as well as basic cocktails

Mezzanine bar – located on our second-floor mezzanine. Upscale craft and specialty cocktails.

Kanine bar – Located at the entrance to Kanine Social. Canned beer options as well as basic cocktails.

Yes. We have free WiFi on a dedicated guest network. Work remotely and enjoy a coffee or beer from our craft cocktail bar on our mezzanine or stream a show while waiting for friends to join you!

Yes. We’re open rain or shine! We have a 10,000 SF covered pavilion with multiple covered seating areas for guests to enjoy even during a summer thunderstorm! Additionally, two 25’ big ass fans will keep guests cool during the summer and large infrared heaters throughout the pavilion will keep guests warm during the winter!

No. Seating at The Block Jax is on a first-come, first-served basis in all areas besides our three lounge areas, which can accommodate small parties of 5-15 people. Please request your lounge space here.

Yes. The Block Jax is designed to be family-forward with kid-friendly food options, programming and access to Kids on The Block, our fully fenced in, secure kids’ play area.

Kids on the Block is a designated play area for children to climb, explore, and play.

A waiver is required to be completed by a parent or legal guardian prior to entry.

The play area is designed for children ages 2-10, for safety children over 10 are not permitted in the play area.

Kids must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.

Entry into the park is for patrons only.

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult for entry into the facility.

Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in Kanine Social’s private dog park. While we understand some dogs may do well with children and some children may be fine around dogs, we do not know the temperament or history of every dog that enters the dog park and this is done out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety.

Children over the age of 10 are not allowed in the kids play park.

No one under the age of 21 is allowed on the mezzanine level.

Yes. Leashed dogs are welcome in outdoor common areas but not in the kids park. If your pup would like a little more freedom to roam and play with other pups, you can enter Kanine Social’s private dog park. Please visit their website for more details.

Yes. We plan to have local musicians performing live during lunch (11:30am-1:30pm) and dinner (5pm-7pm) daily. The live music schedule will be dependent on other programming, so please check our event calendar for more information on who is performing and when!

Many of our community programmed events are free to attend; however, we will also have ticketed events from time-to-time. Please check our events calendar for details on various events and feel free to reach out to info@theblockjax.com with any questions.

Yes. We offer many different options for private or semi-private events. Please visit our events page and submit a form with your event details.

Yes. The Block Jax hosts pop ups and events featuring curated outside vendors. Interested vendors should contact us through this website or by emailing events@theblockjax.com We look forward to hearing what you have to offer!

We do not allow outside food or beverages at The Block Jax. Please support the local food vendors and us, by purchasing food and drinks while you hangout!

No. Smoking (including cigarettes and CBD products) and vaping are not permitted at The Block Jax.

Plenty! Slow down. Be present. Enjoy real time with real people. Let kids play. Catch live music. Join a movie night. Hang out on the lawn. Meet old friends. Make new ones. People watch. Stay a while. Most importantly – enjoy yourself!
